Credits and subscriptions explained
How the free community queue works, and what credits and subscriptions add when you need more than it gives.
One of CraterView.ai’s goals is to make image enhancement and restoration available to everyone. The community queue is free with no account or card required. Credits and subscriptions are available for when you need to move faster or do more.
The community queue
Open the workspace and run a job. Your work goes to the community queue, which runs on our free compute. Sign in to hang on to your task history and to run more jobs at once. Your runs continue to be free on the community queue. Each is still counted at its model’s price, so your history shows credits against it, but nothing past your balance is collected: the balance never goes below zero, and credits you buy are worth their full number.
Because the capacity is shared, two things follow. At busy times jobs wait their turn, and some models set tighter limits to save on compute. Please be considerate of the others using it.
When you need more
When you have a deadline, larger batches, or need more compute than the community queue provides, you can move to our paid compute that scales with demand. There are two ways to pay, with credits or with a subscription.
Credits. A bundle adds credits to your balance, and while you hold credit your work runs on paid compute. A job is charged when it succeeds, and each model shows its price before you run it. Bigger bundles cost less per credit so consider how many credits you might need. Prices are in the pricing section.
A subscription. On an unlimited subscription all your work runs on paid compute for as long as the subscription is valid. A limited subscription covers up to its monthly allowance of work, and past that your work runs on the community queue until the next month. A subscription renews monthly until you cancel it where you bought it: on the website with Manage or cancel on the Account page, or in the iPhone or iPad app from Settings, under Subscriptions. It grants no credits, and any you already hold are spent as usual.
Subscribe or pick a larger bundle when you expect heavy use and when you build on our API. Pick a smaller bundle if you expect light or occasional use.
How many jobs at once
Signed in, you can have up to 5 jobs queued or running at once, and 2 as a guest. The number is the same on the community queue and on paid compute: paying moves your work onto compute that scales with demand, and does not change how many jobs you may have going at once. When you reach it, wait for one of yours to finish before starting the next.
If you need more at once, for a pipeline or a product built on our API, write to sales@craterview.ai and tell us what you are building and the volume you expect.
